As the sole VASP for the Dept. of Agriculture, InterCommerce provides automated solutions for the application for Sanitary Phyto-Sanitary Import Clearance (Import Permit), access to lower duty rate via the DA Minimum Access Volume (MAV) and the issuance of the MAV Import Certificate for the Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI), Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) and the Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI).
In January 2009, the Board of Investments (BOI) and the Philippine Automotive Federation, Inc. (PAFI) selected InterCommerce as its Contractor for the development and implementation of an automated system for the Certificate of Authority to Import (CAI) for participants of the BOI Motor Vehicle Development Program (MVDP), with foreign funding support from the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC).
Being the FIRST VASP accredited by PEZA, InterCommerce has enabled PEZA-registered Ecozone Export Enterprises (EEEs), I.T. Enterprises (ITEs), Ecozone Logistics Service Enterprises (ELSEs), Ecozone Facilities Enterprises engaged in Warehousing and Logistics (EFE-WLs) and Ecozone Export Enterprises with separate Warehousing Division (EEE-WD) to submit applications for Import Permit and Export Documentations. The eIP system allows stakeholders and or nominated Customs Brokers to file their applications online.
InterCommerce was tapped by CDC to customize its Trade System for the CDC Import Permit and Export Clearance procedures. Recently the Auto IP system was developed for the “Bring-in/Bring-out” procedures implemented by the agency.
